Winooski Vermont

Adjacent to Burlington is the historic mill town of Winooski. This urban area with 6,000 residents is characterized by old family neighborhoods, a strong French-Canadian influence and the red brick of numerous 19th century mill buildings. One of the largest of the old textile buildings, the Champlain Mill, has been totally renovated and is now a complex of offices, fine restaurants and shops.
